What working with us looks like

After 31 years there are more stories than we could ever write up. But let's be honest: nobody cares what we did five years ago. These projects were finished in the past few months, and they're running in real businesses today.

// bespoke software · car body repair shop

From desktop folders to one system the whole workshop runs on

The situation

A busy body shop was tracking every job through desktop folders, paper notes and memory. Photos lived on phones, costs were assembled by hand at the end of each job, and customer updates happened when someone found a spare minute.

What we built

A job-management app shaped around their workshop. Every vehicle moves across a board from quote to collection. Photos go straight in from the workshop floor, vehicle details fill themselves in from the registration plate, and parts, labour and costs get recorded as the work happens.

The result

The whole team sees the same live picture of every job. Customers are told automatically when their car is ready, cost sheets export to Excel in a click, and nothing gets lost because nothing depends on remembering.

// web & ai · specialist recruitment agency

A website that works as hard as the recruiters

The situation

The agency's site was a brochure. Roles were advertised by hand, CVs arrived by email and lived in inboxes, and LinkedIn posts got written whenever someone found the time, which was rarely the day a good role landed.

What we built

A new site with a job board the team updates themselves, candidate registration that files CVs into a searchable database instead of an inbox, and an AI assistant that drafts a LinkedIn post from each new role for the team to approve and publish.

The result

New roles go live in minutes and are promoted the same day. Candidates register themselves around the clock, and the site went from a brochure to a working part of the recruitment process.

// ai automation · construction contractor

Quotes that used to take an evening, drafted in minutes

The situation

Quoting happened at the kitchen table after work: site-visit notes and phone photos typed up into an estimate, evening after evening. Slow quotes meant lost jobs, because the first quote through the door often wins.

What we built

An AI quoting assistant. Describe the job in plain English, add the site photos, and it asks the clarifying questions an estimator would ask, then drafts an itemised, professionally formatted quote ready to review and send.

The result

A quote that took an evening is now drafted in minutes and checked in a few more, so it goes out while the job is still warm. The evenings went back to being evenings.

// cybersecurity · skills & training provider

The certification their tenders depended on

The situation

A fast-growing skills and training provider found that the tenders they wanted to bid for required Cyber Essentials Plus. That's the audited version of the standard: an assessor doesn't take your word for it, they test your systems. For a busy team already stretched by growth, working out the requirements from scratch looked like weeks of distraction.

What we did

We took the process off their plate. We reviewed their setup against every control area, tightened up policies and documentation to what the standard expects, and prepared the evidence the assessor would ask for. We brought in an accredited certification body we work closely with, made the introductions, and stayed alongside the client through the assessment until the certificate was issued.

The result

Certified, and the tender submissions went ahead. What looked like a major headache for a time-poor team turned into a guided process that asked very little of them. The certificate now does its job on every tender that asks for it.
