Security sized for your business

Most attacks on small businesses aren't targeted. They're automated, sent to thousands of firms at once, and they succeed wherever the basics are missing. AI has made the fakes better too: phishing emails now read fluently, and invoice fraud can pass a quick glance.

The defence doesn't need to be complicated or expensive. It's the right basic layers configured properly, staff who know what to look for, and a plan written before the bad day rather than during it.

What we put in place

Endpoint & email protection

Modern protection on every device and mailbox. Configured properly, this stops the bulk of attacks before anyone sees them.

Backups you've seen restore

A backup you've never tested is a hope, not a backup. If ransomware hits, whether yours actually restore is the difference between a bad afternoon and a bad month.

Staff awareness training

Short, practical sessions on what phishing looks like now, including the AI-written kind. Staff who have seen real examples click on far fewer of them.

Cyber Essentials certification

The UK government-backed baseline. We get your systems ready and take you through certification with an accredited certification body we work closely with. Insurers and larger customers increasingly ask for it.

Incident planning

One page that says who to call, what to unplug and how to keep trading. Rehearsed once a year so it works under pressure.

Ongoing monitoring

Patching, alerts and periodic reviews. Security is maintenance rather than a one-off project, and it needs an owner.

Security from the people who run your IT

Security bolted on by an outside specialist tends to fight the systems it's protecting. Because we manage the network, the devices and the Microsoft accounts day to day, the protection fits how your business actually works and stays maintained after the install.

Common questions

What is Cyber Essentials and do we need it?

It's the UK government-backed certification covering five core technical controls. More and more contracts and insurance policies require it. Preparation typically takes a few weeks; we do the technical work and an accredited certification body handles the certification itself.

We're a small business. Are we really a target?

Yes, mostly by machines rather than people. Automated attacks don't check company size, and criminals know smaller firms tend to have thinner defences. The flip side is that well-configured basics shut the door on most of the routine, automated attacks.

What should we do first?

Multi-factor authentication everywhere, backups you've actually tested, and staff who've seen real phishing examples. Those three give the most protection per pound. We review where you stand as part of a free consultation.

What if we've already been breached?

Call us, even if we've never worked together. We'll help contain it, recover what can be recovered and work out how it got in. Then we help you make sure the same door is closed for good.
